International experience with ERASMUS+
The project promotes the international mobility of ProAgria staff through work placements abroad and international seminars in Europe.
The thematic priorities of this mobility project are environmentally sustainable agriculture, organic farming, digitalisation and knowledge exploitation, and the development of economic, managerial and strategic skills.
In Finland, the project involves ProAgria Eastern Finland and the Rural Women’s Advisory Organisation (MKN), which is active in the region. In Europe, their aim is to learn about the changes and trends in consumer behaviour, short food supply chains, and tourism from the perspective of sustainability and the construction of cultural tourist routes.
The project focuses on promoting international mobility, in particular to Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Portugal, France, Ireland, Estonia and Italy. Around 20 people from all over the ProAgria Eastern Finland region will participate in the project.
